I just installed wp-email and after configuring all my settings and adding the code to my template, whenever you click on the email button you just get a 404 error, no page displayed to send the email. Anybody else have this happen? Did I miss a step somewhere maybe?

If I change the permalink settings to the default (/?p=xxx), it works.

Posted 15 years ago #Did you try resetting the permalinks back to the way you had them originally? I think the part of the installation I missed was step 6, 'You Need To Re-Generate The Permalink (WP-Admin -> Settings -> Permalinks -> Save Changes)'
