I challenge anyone who has actually gotten WordPress Mu to install to post screen shots of the step-by-step process of doing so.
I've been following and refollowing the instructions for hours, and although I see some people saying they can't get it to work, there are no resolutions posted either.
I'm in the belief that installing wordpress mu can't be done! if So, prove it!

Sure there are. there's hundreds of threads with actual resolutions.
You didn't say what issue you were having, either. Nor where you were hosted (yes, it matters). We can't help if you don't give details.
