Here's a URL, just an ordinary page in the WPMU wiki but please everyone read it once. Next time someone complains that, "My blog doesn't work!! Please help!!!" just point them at this page and ask them to dig around a little themselves.

Cool guidelines donncha! I have two suggestions, you can include it in the readme file too. Also, the search you mentioned does not work. It searches Wordpress.com. Maybe you should point them to http://mu.wordpress.org/forums/search.php instead. ;)
Might wanna put that in the error message (in the code) too. Hey, they are just following orders when they get it. ;)

Unfortunately I think I can't edit the template of this site so I can't change the search. I'll ask Matt to sort that out.
