WordPress MU

VHOST set to no
WPMU is installed in subdirectory "/wordpress-mu/"

One major thing I noticed is that my database only contains the following tables

wp_1_comments
wp_1_links
wp_1_options
wp_1_postmeta
wp_1_posts
wp_1_terms
wp_1_term_relationships
wp_1_term_taxonomy

In other words,I seem to be missing:

wp_blogs
wp_users
wp_usermeta
wp_site
wp_sitemeta
wp_sitecategories

Thoughts anyone?

I'd be tempted to trash all the tables in the database, delete any config files that have been created and try again.

Yep, reinstall. Make sure the db user has ALL permissions on the db.
