You have to have a certain account package with godaddy, or the install will not work.
I followed this tutorial a few months ago when installing wordpress on a godaddy server: http://www.tutoriel.ca/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=20&Itemid=38
If your godaddy account is setup on their microsoft server you have to switch your account service to Linux. I think the tutorial covers that. Just a heads up - it takes several hours to propagate. It's worth the wait for Wordpress MU. This tutorial worked out nicely.

Hi emerinea
Are you saying that WPMU isn't supported on Windows servers? Because I'm in the process of trying to do just that.
@toncuz
Go Daddy provides a tutorial for installing WordPress manually or through our quick install option in Hosting Connection. It also offers steps beyond installation. You can see more here: http://help.godaddy.com/article/5140
