WordPress MU

Hi. I have several mu-plugins installed, for example the sitewide search.

On my toplevel domain, the search works fine.

However if I go to mydowmain/blog1, the search doesn't work. Do I need to do something to get this working?

Also, I have a tabbed area on my toplevel blog which pulls in latest sitewide comments, latest sitewide posts. I put them in the sidebar as a widget. But on a newly setup blog, they are not there to drag.

In the Site Admin options, the plugins box is ticked.

Generally sitewide plugins are designed to allow the main blog/site to display the details of all the blogs across the network. As a sort of "homepage". So from your description, I would surmise that they are working correctly.

Thanks. So on a subblog, can I get a sitewide search plugin? Or will that involve a fair bit of hacking?
