When I load my website in IE 6,7 or 8 the load stalls for 10/15 secs then continues with errors as below:
These errors only appeared after loading 2.8.2.
Any clues as to why/ how to fix?

    Webpage error details

Javascript errors, always a pain to debug.

Firebug shows the same errors so its not just IE being funny.

I had these errors too, it was because the page was not fully loaded. The javascript is included on the bottom of the page. In my system some plugins caused some problems. Check if all your plugins are 2.8 compatible.

    How do I check compatibility?

go to: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/. Search for your plugin and on the right sidebar you'll see "Compatible up to"
