I have just installed this plugin and it's great for hiding menu items from my users. Thanks dsader for creating it!
Is there any way that the Google Gears "Turbo" link can be removed or hidden within this plugin?
I haven't noticed that menu in a while since I use gears on my MB Pro, it remains hidden after I installed gears.
It looks like the Turbo menu was renamed a while ago as turbo.php doesn't even exist. Go figure. Gears loads as part of Tools submenu on page tools.php. The submenu Tools->Tools can be hidden easy enough. I'll update ASAP.
As for the admin header link, use a jquery plugin, like http://sivel.net/wordpress/better-howdy/ , to reshape the admin header to deal with the link to Turbo there. I don't know enough about jquery to do that from scratch, but there's enough in the plugin code to experiment.
