Right now I'm using wordpress for one blog on one website. I've been reading a bit about wordpress mu, but I'm not entirely sure what it is to be used for. I keep reading that it is used for 10,000+ blogs, but is it practical for just a handful of blogs? Basically, I want to have about 5 different websites at 5 different domains, with one wordpress installation to cut down on maintenance (upgrading, etc.). Should I be using wordpress or wordpress mu?

You can use WPMU, but you'd need a plugin to do the multi-domain part of it. I'm playing with the one by Ron and Andrea right now.... There's a charge for it, but it's cheap:

Of course, I've yet to completely get it working.... but I have faith that I will. Those two do good work.
