Hello,
can someone help me out with general questions;
I am looking to create a widget that will contain input from different blogs of mine, text, video, live video, picture/info slider.
A- Is it possible?
B- if is, Is there a common widget to use, or will I need to build one from scratch?

A) Yepyep.
B) You can see how Wordpress has programmed all their widgets by viewing the source of wp-includes/default-widgets.php. Alternately there are a lot of tutorials available (off google), such as http://wpengineer.com/wordpress-built-a-widget/ which are all good starting points.
