I am having problems getting WPMU-LDAP_2.8.4 plugin working with OS X 10.5.8.
The plugin says it works when I test it via its own test but then when I try to create a user or authenticate it does not work. Anyone that has worked with this and can help me please do. I have been working on this for over a week and I just cant seem to get it to work.
I forgot to mention I am using the latest version of wordpress mu. I still cant figure this issue out. The plugin test says it connects but I cant authenticate. Anyone with any ideas please help.
Make sure you have the fields filled out correctly. I thought that "Search DN" was just 'domain.com' but is this:
DC=domain,DC=com
and for the user my format is this:
CN=bsmith,CN=Users,DC=domain,DC=com
password is just that, a simple password for the user you define above.

Still cant get it to work. It shows that my base dn is working but I still cant get any username or password to work.
After you get the ldap plugin working " as in it says working at the top of the screen" you should be abel to just logou and log back in as a user in your ldap directory "correct"?
