rsgroneI had everything running fine then, I attempted to install bbpress this morning, well needless to say that is history, along with my databases, etc.
So I reintsalled (deleted all the old database files) MySQl, and put a fresh copy of wordpressmu back into the folder it originally was in.
Now this folder is outside of my www root and was mapped virtually (all worked fine).
Now, I am getting fastcgi timeouts or cannot connect to the database.
What did bbpress rewrite in some obsucre web config file to cause all this nightmare?
I am running 2008 IIS 7.0 and the installation went smooth as glass the first time and believe me this is not good 7.5 hours at this...
Can someone please help?
At the configuration screen
database - wordpressmu
user - wordpressmu
password - wordpressmu
database - localhost:3306
