We've been using Urchin for our web stats since it runs on the logs directly instead of relying on javascript, but the latest release is looking a little cumbersome for us. So I'm looking at stats options.

Looking for people to list known/preferred stats plugins.

I'd love to try Google Analytics for WordPress MU on WPMUDEV, but it's a premium plugin and I don't have a membership.

I've also started looking at StatPress, but I'm really wary of the database tables it would generate and the upgrade process for WPMU.

Any others? My preference is something that doesn't require our users to have to sign up for an API key.

Eh. I should have just bumped Ovidiu's thread. I even commented in it, so you'd think I'd remember...

If anyone has new suggestions, please add them to that thread.

I use one of the free Google analytics ones. Just hooks in one GA account to the footer, and you can drill down in the menus to find single blog stuff. Doesn't help on the user end tho.

I've also been trying out the wp.com one.
