For some reason both Site Admin and BuddyPress panels don't show up on every blog admin. It is very interesting. Especially since it doesn't show up on the blog I use 90% of the time. So, I have to switch to another blog to do site admin stuff. Any ideas?

And you're logged in as a Site Admin both times?

Yes. I just simply switch from one blog to the other while still logged in as the site admin. In the address bar I simply change from xyz.com/blog1/wp-admin/ to xyz.com/blog2/wp-admin, while still logged in and the site admin bar will be there.

    Verification test:

Go to the main blog and the Site Admin menu.
Visit the Blogs sub-menu and pick a few blogs. hover over each link, and there will be links to each member blog's backend. Click a few of those.

Let me know if you get the same issue.

(although logically, the issue you're having shouldn't be possible....)

Then a plugin has to be interfering.

Can't say which one, you'll have to try disabling some - especially ones that mess with either userlevels or menus.
