Hi,

I am creating a Intranet for my company and nearly finished but they want "something" that will allow the head of the company to post random jokes or bits of info just like Twitter basically but have them appear on a seperate page and thennn also something which can be posted to by email or the like

any ideas - he already has a twitter account which he is using for business???

Then give him his own blog for that. Slap on the P2 theme, enable the post by email.

Can post by email be done internally on a network?

You should be able to do post by email on an intranet, so long as the server is set up to receive email.

We use Exchange: what do you mean by setting the server to recevie mail?
