WordPress MU

Hi all,

Im using WPMU 2.8.4. There are two columns in the dashboard widget column by default. I want to make it to 3 (i have done that) and display the custom widgets in the third column (variable is 'column3') by default for a user (when he registers) as soon as the user logs into the application for the first time.

IN the attachment, it can observed that the third column is blank. What needs to be changed in the dashboard.php so that the new custom dashboard widget can be moved to the third column.
