hm have wpmu on a new server, how do I move my domain name from my old server to the new server ?
I have No idea lol ... wpwebhost.com
Dear Steve,
You may try create an export XML file from your existing hosting.
Then in the temporary URL (Exabytes Server) login to the wpmu dash board and use the import process and use the xml file which is exported earlier.
If you are trying to move a domain name, I don't know what that has to do with exporting an XML file. You need to change the nameservers where ever your DNS is managed.
Hi Miklb ... Thanks ... was sugested by new server, kinda through me too ... how to delegate my domains to new server, how can I do this ?
wpwebhost should have provided you with nameservers to point your domain to, ie, ns1.wpwebost.com, ns2.wpwebhost.com. Where ever you registered your domain name at, you should be able to change the nameserver.
can I move my domains to the new server wpwebhost ?
My turn to baby sit, back soon :)
If you can manage to change the nameservers where ever your DNS is managed then your problem will b solved.
I asked my old server, this a few times with no reply ?
Hi web central Kindly change the name server pair to the following :
ns101.wpwebhost.com
ns102.wpwebhost.com
You have to change this at the place where you bought your domain names. What's the domain?
Hi Andrea ... yep bought them from web central ... I'm not sure if i'm asking them to do he right thing ? All i need is to connect these names to my new site ... http://72.18.130.159/~exposeyo/
exposeyourgovernment.com
exposeyourgovernment.com.au
exposeyourgovernment.net.au
Yes, you asked for the right thing. Problem is, they may be expecting you to login to web central and change them yourself. (it's pretty easy)
m yep ... log is easy ... I searched around there comntrol panel from top to bottom, there is nothing with name server, I thought it must be hidden ... I sent them another job order ... see how that goes ... Thanks :)
Still trying ... Thanks
