I have set the default theme to all blogs. It works fine. But in Admin area I have customized (Appearance--->Widget)the sidebar with different widget items, I want that sidebar as default sidebar to all new users. Currently it is taking theme's sidebar as default

Posted 16 years ago #Yes, each sub blog has its own independent sidebar. The only way I know of to standardize the widgets is to hardcode them into the themes that the users pick from.

Thats what I understand too, you hardocde your widgets and remove the widgetized bit to stop people changing them.
