I've been trying to set up a custom Apache log that includes the virtual domain that is being accessed. The reason for this is so that I can use Awstats to monitor the logs for stats purposes.
The default Apache logs only report the main domain and not the virtual domain that is being accessed. I tried to set up a new custom log following these instructions but it doesn't help because there aren't any virtual hosts set up.
Has anyone got any suggestions to get this set up, or, has anyone got any other suggestions on how to monitor the activity of all blogs on the sytem?
The end result I'm after is a monitoring solution that will allow me to keep stats on all blogs on the system.
