How to disable blog upload space quota? (3 posts)

I want to completely disable the upload space quota sitewide on my MU installation, so that uploads are unlimited for all blogs, unless I override it for a specific blog.

Now, apparently not thinking like the developers, I went to Site Admin > Options and set "Blog upload space" to 0. Instead of disabling the quota, this set the quota sitewide to 50MB on each blog.

How can I completely disable the upload space restrictions?

Put in a trac ticket enhancement request to add a hook to the function upload_is_user_over_quota. Right now there's no hook there, so the only way to do it would be to hack the core.

That or just put an extremely high number in the blog quota. :)

Yeah, I would just put an insanely high number in there. Simple, fast, easy.
