I am trying to install Wordpress MU in an Intranet enviroment.

I am installing it on http://ccnet/ I can get it to install just fine but when I go to login with admin I get sent to

    http://ccnet/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fccnet%2Fwp-admin%2F

which just displays the login again....

    Any one seen this before?
    Ideas?

    Thanks in Advance.

It needs to be installed on a fully qualified domain name. So ccnet.com or ccnet.net instead of just ccnet.

    What about ccnet.ccc.lcl

I had the same problem yesterday. You can use ccnet.ccc.lcl (as long as your DNS server resolves it).

    See this post: http://mu.wordpress.org/forums/topic/15537
    for more information.

Yeah Just started messing around with it I think I am going to go at it like this.

I Have ccnet.ccc.lcl hit the Wordpress MU install
and I have ccnet hitting the servers base directory.

What I am going to try is to set up apache to do a reverse proxy so ccnet <-> ccnet.ccc.lcl

Will keep you posted on how it works.

Don't know how this is going to affect performance but should be interesting to see.

Worse case scenario is I will just set ccnet to do a PHP header redirect to ccnet.ccc.lcl

    Not optimal but it works.

Looks like the Proxy idea was not the way to go....

Doing a 301 Redirect from ccnet to ccnet.ccc.lcl now...

Would be nice to see this 'fixed' in a new version of WPMU
