I have about 40+ users on one blog who are assigned the role of Author. Two of these users, when logging in, are able to access an Author dashboard, but when they try to post or save changes to their profiles, their roles are reverting to Subscriber.
It's probably not the large number of users at fault, since this problem actually started when the blog had only 2 or 3 users, so I'm stumped.
All of my plugins are up to date and I don't have many (just the usual: BuddyPress, Group Blogs, etc... but nothing else that really messes too much with user roles).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
