    I had problems with my server/database info before, but I got the right values, and the installer ran fine, but when I clicked the log in button it gave me this

    Could Not Find Blog!
    Searched for artornothing.com/ in artornot::wp_blogs table. Is that right?

    I installed wp directly into my web directory, so the blog should be at artornothing.com

    here's the wp_blogs table

    http://www.artornothing.com/duffy/dump/wpblogtable.jpeg

    It looks like it should work. My permissions on /web/ and /web/wp-content/ are all 777 as well. I'm confused.

    why do you have it in cgi-bin?

    The reason it's not working is that wpmu is instaled in the root, but the path in the database is /cgi-bin/. You may have some config issues on your host.

    artornot::wp_blogs

    Where did the double colons come from as well? Looks like a perl file name.

    Care you walk us through what your specific server setup is and how you have wpmu installed?

    my host is gate.com

    I have a single database that also includes a phpbb forum.

    I had some trouble getting the proper values for the installation. I thought the proper address for the database host would be artornot.artornothing.com, but gate.com told me to use ldb997.lsh.chicago.hostway, which I did. I entered the server address as artornothing.com, since I installed wpmu to the root /web/ directory on my ftp.

    I tired deleting the /cgi-bin/ from the table, but this didn't fix anything. If I just delete everything and start all over, what should I do differently?

    When you go to install make sure that the cgi-bin is not in the settings shown on the install screen. If you have the same issue with the second install, contact your host and ask them about the cgi-bin.
