First of all, I have attempted to register at the BP forums but I have received no email confirmations.
Here are my questions:
1. Are there any thorough instructions on what exactly to edit to integrate an old wordpress theme with BuddyPress?
2. If BP is turned off, can I still use bbPress forums (In the latest version of BP)?
Those would be better asked over on the BuddyPress forums, I think.

What's the trick to registering over there? I tried to register with the BP site so I could post in their forums, but I still have not been let in.

Same for me. I wanted to ask exactly the same question as for the integration of Buddypress with the theme of our choice.
Have either of you tried logging in over there with the same credentials you have here?
They're all connected you know. :)
Also, the theme stuff hasn't been really written out completely, yes I am working on it.
