I decided to try out WPMU after having built several sites with WP. But I can't get past the install screen.
I can access the admin panel and even set up new blogs (or so it seems). But when I go to see what it all looks like, I still get the install instructions on the homepage.
Anyone have any idea what's going on here? Apparently I've installed somewhat correctly, otherwise I wouldn't see the dashboard. But I'm afraid to redo the install.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

The default homepage is unimpressive. Does it have the form fields or just text about MU and getting started? If you're seeing the form fields then there's definitely still a problem.
Nah...still has the form fields for installation. So weird that it shows up yet I can still access the dashboard. Would it have anything to do with the mod-rewrite? I don't know what that is or how to access it! :-)
Okay...I checked my htaccess and looked up mod_rewrite in my phpinfo file and was able to see that it was turned on. When I re-input all the variables into my installation page and tried it again, I got the confirmation screen. But it still doesn't work. The confirmation screen does say that Wildcard DNS may be incorrectly configured, but still lets me login to my admin panel.
I thought that changing the theme might help, but it didn't. In fact, if I want to preview a theme, the preview I get is of the installation page - all over again.
*sigh*
OS have you checked your Domain wild cards in both your DNS settings and in your apache config file?
I just finished install mu wordpress, it does gave me admin password, but when i try to login it keep telling me that i entered a wrong password, can anyone help me with this?
