WordPress MU

many blogs that are linked together?

I am starting a blogging community, between 5 to 10 bloggers. The community is about pets. Is it better to have on blog (like wordpress mu) with many bloggers or each blogger has their own blog and has a connecting page?

In addition, any other suggestions?

If every blogger will talk about different things, then it's better use a wordpress mu installation. This is simmilar to what happens in tech blogs.
