I downloaded the zip-file of the latest version of WP MU, unpacked it and uploaded all files to the web server. When I went to the right direction i got an error: "There doesn't seem to be a wp-config.php file. I need this before we can get started."

There also were a button namned "Create a Configuration File" but nothing happens when I click on it.

    Anyone knows what to do?

Are the permissions right on the directory ? Can your webserver user write files into the directory?

Yes, the directory is writable. I have tried different settings with the permissions but the above message is the best I can get. I have installed older versions before, but never had this problem before.
