I'm going to be adding a few more admins to my site to get rid of the spam blogs as quickly as possible. However, I don't want these users to be able to edit anything other than their own blog - ie. I don't want them to have the same level of access as I do, I just want them to be able to mark blogs as spam.

    Is that possible?

If not, I'm considering writing my own management back-end which would allow multiple accounts to have varying degrees of access. If I do, I'll make it available for others once it's done.

Why not install the Feedback plugin from over at wpmudev.org and let folks report them?

That's one I will be adding shortly. Still would be good to give trusted users limited access as I can't watch the site 24x7.

There's really no way to do limited admin access currently. (PHPNuke has it but it divides up the modules between the admins. A admin could watch the forums but not the new postings or the link system for example)

You may want to suggets that over at the trac.
