    Hi all,
Just started with WordPress MU 2.9.1.1 and installing Plugins and after about 9 plugins i get this error.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1966080 bytes) in /home/smallhos/public_html/wordpress-mu/wp-includes/class-simplepie.php on line 5409

    any ideas?

Damn. And I thought I was being generous with our 128meg defaults on our boxes.

What I found was that if you give PHP a lot of memory space to play around with even if it doesn't really need it it seems to run a lot faster - as I noticed in this thread : http://mu.wordpress.org/forums/topic/5804?replies=6

Talk to your hosting company - it can be hidden in all sorts of places.
