WordPress MU

Ive got a subdomain which I use a lot and only recenty decided to change my my main domain to a different website (not wordpress mu) but now when anyone clicks links or goes to the subdomain it shows up with the main url which is not wordpress... How can I work around this?

Do I have to turn it back into a wordpress mu site then set a redirect link through wordpress mu to a different index.html page? because that really sucks, all suggestions welcome & thanks for reading.

If you want a single subdomain to support your WPMU install (which is running in subdirectory mode I guess?) with something else on the top level domain then the easiest way is to set the WPMU sub domain up as its own virtual host.

I do that with my blog setup and my brothers main site - blogs sits on the blogs subdomain (running in subdirectory mode) and his site sits on the main www
