Hi..still amazed by this new toy.

I've installed/tested everything, all is good, even with dyndns.
I just have a 'little' question:

Im hosting my own live mu install @ my pc + dyndns, my ISP even has p80 open. BUT since I had to change the siteurl/home/domain to the public address (after it was localhost.localdomain.com), now I'm publishing, well, with the live URL.
I don't want to waste (very limited) bandwidth with my own posts/editing, just reserve it to my clients: is there a way to EDIT/PUBLISH/TWEAK locally (since I have the files in my own pc)? I mean, by localhost.localdomain.com? And allow to the clients to visit the live url (compuniverso.blogdns.com)?

I'm just php challenged and I'm learning on the fly, sorry if it's a stupid question.

you still be "wasting" bandwidth to transfer the edits to the live site, so no.

As you are hosting in on your network why not simply put your dyndns domain into your local hosts file against your IP address.

Thus when YOU visit using the live domain name locally its actually just your local machine.

I think that is what you meant isn't it?

You got it right SteveAtty that's it!

'#' does wonders in the hosts file

@andrea_r: sorry if I wasn't clear enough, thank you.
