    Hi!
I've downloaded latest wordpress (v2.9.1.1) and installed it using installation wizard. In installation page I've entered:

    Blog Addresses: Sub-directories (like example.com/blog1)
    Server Address: 192.168.1.52/mysite/

My server has not domain name, only ip address: 192.168.1.52. My whole site is placed in a folder "mysite". For wordpress installation I've created "blogs" folder inside "mysite" folder, and unzipped wordpress php files into "blogs" folder.
After hitting Submit on wordpress installation page, installation finishes without errors, creates database tables normally, and gives me username "admin" and computer generated password. When I try to login using provided username and password at

    http://192.168.1.52/mysite/blogs/wp-login.php

    it redirects me to

    http://192.168.1.52/mysite/blogs/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2F192.168.1.52%2Fmysite%2Fblogs%2Fwp-admin%2F

which shows me login page again.
When I try with different password, login page shows "Invalid password" error message.
What I've done wrong? Why my installation do not redirect to admin panel and repeatedly opens login page instead?

    Thanks forehand for any suggestions

WPMU does not work with IP addresses - you need a domain name.

Also you could do with putting WPMU at the top level - your current set up would mean urls like: domain.com/mysite/blogs/blogname/permalink

It definitely works for now with Firefox. I think, Opera keeps some cached stuff, which prevents admin from logging in.
