    I currently have many new users every day but 95% of them don't write anything on their blog. They even not change the default template, which have no ads.
    It's the same for you?

    Have faith... It will happen... what you could do is send out a welcome email with a little how-to (or link to one) on setting your own theme etc... This link may give you some ideas too:

    That's the major reason why I want to put only the latest actual posts on the homepage.

    Andrea_r's magic plugin is here.

    You can't really force users to post on their blogs, although this hack is a good attempt!

    You may want to create a demo account for folks to poke around with and a cron job to reload it every few hours. That will probably cut down on the fantom blogs.

    Wasn't someeone working on a plugin for that drmike?

    I have to dig back a bit and see if it ever came to be.

    I think they were.

    I can see it as a plugin but you would have to be reloading everything when someone new signed on. Might be a hassle if someoen else was already signed on at the same time.

    I'd just do it as a cron job and, when ran, delete the old tables and replace them with the new tables afterwards.
