mauja88I am attempting to install WordPress MU at godaddy with Windows hosting and IIS7.
I get the following error, when I run the "index.php" installation script.
Warning: fopen(wp-config.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in D:\Hosting\5695133\html\blogs\index-install.php on line 468
I read on another blog, that the problem is due to the lack of write permissions. They gave a procedure for adding write permissions, using the folder properties in the FileZilla FTP application. However this approach did not work for me. It looks like it would only work on Linux.
I have also seen workarounds for "mod_rewrite" not working on Windows, but I assume those problems are encountered after the installation script has been run.
