WordPress MU

Hello,
Not sure if that's the right version or not - I just upgraded to the latest version this morning.

I'm running WPMU and, seemingly, no matter what theme I try there is no option, anywhere that I can find, for a user to create their own blog.

I've tried several WPMU themes....and a bunch of WP themes (will those not allow that option?).

Any pointers? I must be missing something......

go to yourdomain.com/wp-signup.php.

the home theme included with MU has this link. Regular WP themes do not, so you have to write a pafe or put direction sin a text link so people visiting your home page can find it.

I did it - created a link - no problem and was able to setup a blog.

However, when I go to that blog I can a "Forbidden, you don't permission to access / on this server" it's a 403 error.

Can you point me to the right place to change the permissions?

What kind of setup did you pick on install? Subfolders or subdirectories? Looks like you missed a step.

No problem - I got what you meant :)

I have no idea - I installed it last week and don't remember. Is there a way to find out or to redo that step?

I'll probably be wiping and reinstalling clean in the next day or so as I've done a lot of messing around ...lol
