WordPress MU

I heard that an upcoming new version of Wordpress (3.0) will combine the single user and the MU in one download. As I understand it, during installation, you choose whether to use it as a single-user or MU.

• Does anyone have any info on this?
• When is the release date?
• Any manuals or other info out yet?

Actually, right now, you install single WP first. Then you enable the network of sites.

I just started drafts for the codex yesterday. It's not even officially in beta yet.
