Page Specific Blogs (3 posts)

    So, I am messing around with WordPress MU and what I am trying to get to happen is this.

    I have my Home Page and along the top of the page is my menu bar. The homepage of course is a blog (since I still have not been able to find out how to make the main page a page and not the blog. ie when you go to example.com it goes to the "About" page instead of the main blog), but then the menu bar is comprised of different pages created.

    Home | Web Designs | About | Blog | Contact

    Now, what I want to do is have 2 sub-blogs under the "Web Designs" Page. So, when a visitor clicks on the link "Web Designs" and they are taken to the page, they will see information about my designs and company, etc. Then they can click on my "Portfolio" (which is a blog of past jobs) or "Web Designs Templates for Sale" (which is a blog of templates for sale). When they click on those blogs they will then still see the same menu bar at the top that go to all the same links.

    Home | Web Designs | About | Blog | Contact

    The problem that I am having is that each blog has its own set of menu items at the top. So, if I create a "Portfolio" blog and have a link to it from the "Web Designs" page, then the "Portfolio" blog only shows the pages associated under that blog.

    I see the mentality of WordPress MU as "Multi-Users" thus the MU. And thus the reason that every blog has its own pages, and not associated with the pages of other blogs. But, is there a way to use it for one user with multiple blogs?

    Still trying to figure this one out. Been at it all day. Can't find a plugin to do it. And I have tried redesigning my site to make it work. Can't figure another way.

    Here is the structure I need. Any ideas?

    Home Page
      --> Page 1
           -->   Page 1 Blog
           -->   Page 1 Sub-Page
                -->   Page 1 Sub-sub-Page 1
                -->   Page 1 Sub-sub-Page 2
      --> Page 2
           -->   Page 2 Blog
           -->   Page 2 Sub-Page 1
           -->   Page 2 Sub-Page 2
           -->   Page 2 Sub-Page 3
      --> Page 3
           -->   Page 3 Blog
           -->   Page 3 Sub-Page 1
           -->   Page 3 Sub-Page 2

    So far what I have completed are each page and their Sub-pages and sub-sub-pages. But the Blogs under each page doesn't work. I can add a link to the blog on each page, but then when you go to that blog, all the menu links are gone.

    Any ideas?

    Please, anyone? Ideas... I have been racking my brain on this one, and it seems like there should be a way to do this, or a plugin already developed. Has anyone made a way for there to be multiple blogs all using the same menu?
