So, I am messing around with WordPress MU and what I am trying to get to happen is this.
I have my Home Page and along the top of the page is my menu bar. The homepage of course is a blog (since I still have not been able to find out how to make the main page a page and not the blog. ie when you go to example.com it goes to the "About" page instead of the main blog), but then the menu bar is comprised of different pages created.

Now, what I want to do is have 2 sub-blogs under the "Web Designs" Page. So, when a visitor clicks on the link "Web Designs" and they are taken to the page, they will see information about my designs and company, etc. Then they can click on my "Portfolio" (which is a blog of past jobs) or "Web Designs Templates for Sale" (which is a blog of templates for sale). When they click on those blogs they will then still see the same menu bar at the top that go to all the same links.

The problem that I am having is that each blog has its own set of menu items at the top. So, if I create a "Portfolio" blog and have a link to it from the "Web Designs" page, then the "Portfolio" blog only shows the pages associated under that blog.
I see the mentality of WordPress MU as "Multi-Users" thus the MU. And thus the reason that every blog has its own pages, and not associated with the pages of other blogs. But, is there a way to use it for one user with multiple blogs?
