Force www and remove blog slug (4 posts)

    Hi !

I have installed a site for a client on wpmu. The only problem is that he wants to have /blog/ removed on the main site and keeps the www. at the beginning of the url.

I have used a plugin "remove blog slug" to do the trick for /blog/. But, when I did that it made a redirection loop because of the www. So I had to remove the www.

Some infos seem to be closer than my problem on the comments here :

Do you have any solutions for this ? If you don't have any idea, please avoid telling me that it is impossible because I have to find a solution in this case.

    Thank you

Thanks for the links, actually, I have just made some others tests. A

Asn the problem is really weird.

When I add the www, only on siteurl and homepage (and not on domain), the site is working great with the www.

At one exception, the links are without "blog" in the URLs but it is possible to navigate on the site bu adding "blog" manually in the URL.

Do you see what I mean ? Is there any other way to remove blog from the URL than using the plugin "remove blog slug" ?

To make it clear, there is an example :
    I have a link like this :
    http://www.mysite.com/mycategory/

I click on it and I'm redirected to the homepage. But if I write in the URL :
    http://www.mysite.com/blog/mycategory/

The good page is displayed. I hope it is understandable now.
