WordPress MU

I have just installed wordpress MU.
After I tried a different theme, the "register a new blog" link, or something like that is gone.. how can I get it back?

Can you suggest any good theme for my homepage?

Put it in a text widget. It's just a regular hyperlink to the signup page, which is yourdomain.com/wp-signup.php.
