I feel really stupid asking this, but what exactly does one do to add an additonal blog?

I went the Site Admin > Blogs, but I didn't see any "New Blog" button or anything like that.

Naw.... took me a while to figre out too :o)

just go to http://yoururl.com/wp-newblog.php

How can a subscriber add a new blog i.e. the subscriber do not have an existing blog but now would like to have one.

i couldnt find an option in the subscriber dashboard to add a blog?

pls help.

just to clarify, i'm looking at how a registered user (user only or subscriber, and not registered user-with-blog) can add a new blog of their own, by themselves and not manually added by Admin.

They go to the signup page while logged in. yoursite.com/wp-signup.php
