2.9.2 MU with BP 1.2.3
I have changed the name of my wp-signup page, plus am only allowing already signed in members to create new blogs, but I am STILL getting new user registrations at a rate of 7 or so a week.
Before that I tried all the invitation onlys, the anti spams.....even the thing in htaccess
Is there anything else I can do as this is now getting ridiculous!
7 or so a week? Then they're human.
"ridiculous" is 7 or so an hour. Or more.
BP hijacks the signup page, so please go check in their forums too.
Also, there's a setting in MU that allows users do add other users. Disable that.
Hi Andrea :) Yes, I was getting over 30 registrations a day, with new blogs and finally got them down to 7 a week which is great but still very annoying :)
