Hello,
I'm using multi user, and want to allow registrations only on one subdomain, where users can contribute their own posts.
Dashboard Site setting works, but index of that subdomain loop-redirects to dashboard, so the site isn't accessible.
If I remove Dashboard Site, it works again.

Dashboard site is only for users who have no blog, so they can have a backend to manage their profile. The front end of the Dashboard Site will never be visible.
Make the blog you want, then you'll have to add some code (in the mu-plugins folder) so they are added to that site when they sign up. Went over it plenty in the MU forums.
