WordPress MU

I can't install WP in the root. I just want to integrate WPmu with the rest of my site and so I've to place it in a subdirectory.

It seems to me there is some problem with the URLrewrite rules ...

I'm using WinXP and IIS this problem persist after I tried all methods provided. After that, I put it on web hosting site and still got the same error, seems that it is not the problem of WinXP + IIS. I really don't know how to make wpmu to find the database table.....

A know problem for using wpmu on Windows + IIS :
$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] not defined
