Remove my admin role from a "child" blog (3 posts)

    Greetings,

I am a site admin for students.expression.edu. I made myself an administrator for one of the "child" blogs on the site, /sustainabilityexchange, to help figure out some theme issues. Now I want to remove myself as an administrator (at the very least, be a subscriber).

When I go to the sustainability blog dashboard > Users > Authors and Users and try to change my role to subscriber, I get the message: "The current user’s role must have user editing capabilities."

When I go to Site Admin > Blogs > Edit > Blog Users, I have N/A under Role, Password, and Remove.

To add, my gravatar appears in the BuddyPress Blog roll instead of the blog creator's.

Is there a way to remove myself as an admin on a child blog? Thank you!

If you are a SiteAdmin, create a second account for blogging as a normal user.

Or conversely, create a new user account for yourself as SiteAdmin and remove your everyday account from the SiteAdmin list.

Awesome. So in theory, as a Site Admin, I could remove my "regular user" self from blogs I help build?

    Thanks!
