Blank page after login with Firefox on BuddyPress (5 posts)

On both my newly installed WPMU+BuddyPress and the buddypress.org site, after logging in I am directed to a blank page. This problem occurs only when using Firefox (version 3.6.3), but everything works properly in IE8. If I navigate to the blog / website again with the URL, I am logged in and it seems to work fine after that.

I have tested it with Firefox in safe mode and have the same problem.
I tried using other BuddyPress themes, but the same thing happens.
If BuddyPress is disabled, then the problem doesn’t occur.
The problem does not occur if the user that is logging in does not have posting rights.

I've tried finding some help on the BuddyPress website, but haven't had any luck. I'm not sure what else to test or look at, at this point, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

And did you look at your error logs?

Yes, and it doesn't look like any errors could be linked to the problem, according to the times and dates. The last errors were days ago, and I've logged in with the problem multiple times since then. Also, the errors look like they were from messing with a couple of plugins that have since been removed.

I just tried a few more things with it and noticed that it also happens when stickying topics and deleting posts in the internal bbPress forums. In these cases, it sits on the delete URL, but once you manually return to the thread, the effects have taken place.

I also just tried logging in on a different computer with the same version of Firefox, and the problem doesn't occur. I've tried it on the problematic computer with FF, IE8, Chrome, Opera, and Maxthon (for what it's worth), and the problem only happens in Firefox.

Therefore, I don't think it's the computer, specifically (like a program interfering with it). I can't see how it's Firefox either, since I've run it in safe mode without plugins and such.

At this point I'm just trying to think of anything that could possibly cause it so I can figure something out, so if anyone has any ideas at all I could try, please say so.

    Thanks.
