Editor Capability = no edit capability? (4 posts)

I added one user to a blog with the "editor" capability in WordPress MU/BuddyPress. I can see in the backend of the specific blog that the user IS editor.

(I want to test if I can set up a group blog with front-end editor)

However, even though the user has editor capabilities he (actually myself, a testuser) can not edit posts.

the "edit posts" screen has still no edit option as well in the front-end as well as no front-end-editor.

    ?

I tried to add them manually but still no edit capabilities in mu/buddypress. Im probably missing something essential.

Ah.... posts that have been created by ADMINISTRATOR can not be edited. But posts that have been created by other editors CAN be edited.

Can I make it somehow so that posts that have been created by ADMIN can ALSO be edited by editors?

And not only posts but also widget content?

no, not unless the editor were admins. Or change the admin-created posts to ones created by an editor.
