WordPress MU

I am excited that Matt finally has starting using WordPress.Com, but it seems that he has forgotten the link to OpenDomain when he updated the style.
Please put the link to Opendomain.Org back ASAP

Is WordPress.Com using WordPress MU, or did Matt integrate MU functionality into 1.6?
There seems to be a few bugs in WordPress.Com that are fixed in WordPress 1.5 (not MU)

I do see that there is text "Domain donated by RicJohnson"
The domain was NOT donated by me! The OpenDomain transfered it to Matt in exchange for a LINK - to help promote our own Open movement.
Can you PLEASE update the site with a link (please see http://Xmpp.Org for an example)

If you review how much I spent on WordPress.Com, I am one of the largest contributor, and yet I can not get a response.
All I am asking is that Matt follow through with what he promised.

Try sending an email to the wp-hackers mailing list, that gets a wider readership than these forums do or if you have a wordpress.com account then use the Feedback link.

jaseone, it would be appreciated by everyone on the hackers list if you only referred traffic that actually belongs on the list to the list. WP-Hackers is not for WordPress.com, and those issues should really be left to these forums and the WP.com forums when they are up.

If I had have known the other lengths that RicJohnson had gone to in order to contact Matt & Donncha then there is no way I would have referred them to wp-hackers, I did that seemingly as a last resort as often questions get posted here about core features of WPMU and go unanswered by the developers but there is always a core person available on wp-hackers.

If there were WP.com forums then that would be the obvious place but at the moment there isn't and honestly the whole WPMU vs. WP.com thing is a bit of a mess right now so instead of becoming more involved like I was thinking of I am going to take a step back as it sounds like things are going to get even more murky with features on WP.com that will require payment.

I apologise for the inappropriate referral to wp-hackers, I won't add traffic by posting an apology to the list.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out given past events...

I have a user of the OpenDomain program that has been using the domain http://Webloog.Com to support about 520 users on a WordPress MultiUser install on his server. He sent me an email that he can not have the WPMU up any more due to security concerns.

1) Can you let me know if his fears are founded?
2) Is anyone on this list willing to accept support of this community on their servers?
3) WordPress.Com is also an OpenDomain, but Matt still has not updated the site with a link to OpenDomain.Org - can anyone on this list fit it or contact Matt?

Ok, I understand that you are upset and all. But posting here really isn't going to resolve much and to be honest, it's starting to get annoying. Matt rarely posts here so there really is no point in dragging this post out even longer. To be honest i'm surprised this post has not been deleted. If the deal was between you and matt then this really isn't the place considering that you two worked out the deal before donncha and wpmu was even mentioned for wordpress.com

Just my two cents and please don't take this as disrespect towards you.

I don't recall seeing any posts about any security concerns with WPMU what so ever so if the admin of webloog.com has found some it would be nice to let the community know, just closing the site like that seems a little childish to me.

I am sorry to post this subject here, but I this concerns the whole WordPress community.
It seems that I have tried everything to get Matt Mullenweg to hold up his word, but he will not even reply.
The next steps are obvious because I must enforce the terms of the Open Domain program.
I would like the WordPress community to know that I tried to be reasonable.
I expect a lot of money to be wasted that would be better of spent on Open communities.
If anyone would like to comment or respond, please feel free.

Perhaps posting on Matt's blog or his new Wordpress.com blog? I don't think I have seen him post here more than once.
