How to allow Wordpress MU to FTP upload pictures?! (3 posts)

    How do I allow WordPress MultiUser to FTP upload picture to the correct directory, because right now it's disabled for WordPress MU.

    Please help asap!!

    This would be a major security risk if you;re planning on allowing your end users to do this. One of the security features of wpmu is that it only allows certain types of files to be uploaded. Allow anyone to upload whatever files they want and you will have problems. For example, I could upload a simple php file that would email me your database login information and I could erase your database and your files.

    Be happy to cover this but please confirm you want to open you site to abuse.

    MU stores its pictures in a different folder. That might be part of your issue.
