Redirecting to location on my personal server oppose to the domain I bought (4 posts)

    Hello,

    Right so I bought newdomain.com. The website files is on olddomain.com/newfiles

    when I go to newdomain.com it redirects to olddomain.com/newfiles but that just looks silly. I want to keep it at newdomain.com

    Is there something in the htaccess I need to change or the config file? Also need to change olddomain.com/newfiles/rssfeed to newdomain.com/rssfeed

    Did you read the codex under "changing the URL"?
    Did you go through the wp-config.php files and the entire database to make sure it had references to your new domain name?
