WordPress MU

I've set up a blog on WPMU as admin, and I'd like to change the ownership to one of the other members, but I can't seem to delete myself from the blog.

I don't know how else to do this, as the blog slug needs to stay the same, so I can't delete it and start again.

You don't say what you've tried. Does Site Admin > Blogs, then Edit "New Admin email" not do it?

make sure that blog isn't your primary blog. See dashboard -> My Blogs. Then get the other admin to list it as their primary blog.

Thanks for your suggestions, I have managed to take myself off the blog as admin by removing myself in the Site Admin > Options > Administration Settings > Site Admins section, then logging in as the other admin and deleting myself as a user, however this meant I couldn't admin any of the sites!

I managed to log in as a different admin and return myself as an admin of the main site (in Site Admin > Options > Administration Settings > Site Admins again), however, now the blog that I deleted myself from is not showing up in the BuddyPress directory

I'm obviously doing something wrong somewhere, but not sure what it is.
